For everyday tasks — answering questions, writing, coding, summarizing, voice commands — local models on ClawBox perform excellently. Llama 3.1 8B scores close to GPT-3.5 on most benchmarks. For cutting-edge reasoning on very complex tasks, frontier cloud models (GPT-5, Claude 4) have an edge.
